Association of Maybank
Officers (AMO) was formed to represent all Maybank’s officers in the
ranks of :-
(a) Sub Accountant II
(b) Chief Cashier A & B |
|
|
29th
October 1986 |
Recognition accorded to AMO by the Bank |
|
|
10th November
1986
|
Trade dispute between
Maybank and AMO on reclassification of the Officers to new
designations i.e. Senior Officers, Officer I and Officer II.
The trade
dispute was referred by AMO to Kementerian Buroh for reconciliation
and settlement. |

Protem Executive Council was established and had applied to the
Director General of Trade Union (DGTU) to form AMCO
